There are a few common reasons your site may not be ranking, but first, it is recommended that you search for your site on Google. If you see your website pages listed, this indicates that your website is indexed on Google.

If your site is not ranking, it could be caused by your content not matching the searcher’s intent or the content lacking quality or an in-depth analysis when compared to the pages that are ranking for those targeted queries.

When creating content or optimizing your pages, make sure your pages are on par with or are of better quality than the pages that are already ranking for those queries. If your site is newer, that could be another reason your site isn’t ranking. It takes time to build up the authority needed to rank in the competitive search queries.

Your site may not be indexed. If you recently launched your site, but you have not submitted it to Google or linked to it from anywhere, then it has not been indexed, so it won’t rank. Set up the Google Search Console and then request indexing to get started.

Your site could be blocking search engines from crawling, instructing the search engine no to index it, which can affect ranking. Once these blocks are resolved, your site will be indexed.
