Higher Images served as the presenting sponsor for the 1st Annual Pittsburgh Business Show. The Show, which was held on April 19-20 at the David L. Lawrence convention center, featured 150+ exhibitors who talked to thousands of attendees about their business products and services.

The Show invited start-up businesses, established organizations, and Fortune 500 companies to learn how to achieve their goals, increase their revenue, and connect with people and resources to jump-start their businesses.

As the presenting sponsor, Higher Images hosted Pragya Banthia, a Google employee, who works in the Global Marketing Solutions department. She presented a talk both days of the Show about Google advertising products and what the benefits are of working with a Google Partner agency (like Higher Images).

Higher Images also shot, edited, and posted more 15 promotional videos for the Pittsburgh Business Show YouTube channel. Each video was shared on the Pittsburgh Business Show site and on social media.

Dan Harmon, Vice President of Higher Images, and Alex Rutkowski and Brandon Marsico, SEO specialists, each presented a workshop during the show. Dan discussed a new program, STORM, which was developed by Higher Images to address a growing need for small businesses to focus on more than just their website and to take advantage of all of the valuable online real estate that makes the most impact.

Brandon, one of Higher Images’ social media specialists, held a workshop about the importance of managing a company’s online reputation, which includes managing reviews, how reviews affect a business’ presence on Google, and responding to both positive and negative reviews.

Alex, an internet marketing pro for the last decade, talked about how companies can build or update their websites to improve conversions, what the current best practices are, and how to track visitors and performance on a site.

All Pittsburgh Business Show workshops and presentations were taped and will be available on the Show website in the future.
